Next on my list comes Assumption Park. It has an interesting and creative space to relax and have a good time. I highly recommend you visit there and witness the wonderful artworks and sculptures that attract everyone. Even for the locals it is the perfect weekend destination to come and enjoy quality time with family. The park provides various amenities, including convenient parking, spacious walking trails, open spaces, and lots of benches. The waterfront view from the park is a cherry on the cake.
3. Jackson Park
Location- 125 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8X 2P7, Canada
You love plants, Right? I would suggest you to visit the Jackson Park. It’s not just I am telling you, but there are more than 10,000 plants in this park. Imagine how beautiful would it be, when their branches get loaded with lovely seasonal flowers!
It is one of the most beautiful parks with many other attractions. You can see spectacular fountains, world war victim monuments and conventional gardens of Windsor like Queen Elizabeth II’s sunken garden.
Not only this I highly recommend you explore its other amenities to satisfy the sports lover inside you, Any guesses? There are soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball, rugby, cricket pitches, basketball courts, and other play units. So play around with your friends and kids and enjoy your holidays. I am sure you must be getting excited to know about more parks now. So, continuing the list, the next one is the beautiful Mic Mac Park. This park is also equipped with several amenities to delight you in your free time. If you are around Downtown Windsor, you mustn’t skip this one.
There are swimming pools, a soccer field, a Mic Mac pool, a basketball court and various other sports facilities along with picnic tables and a great parking lot in every area of the park. It’s a great park for families and couples to stroll around through the walking trails, take beautiful pictures and go for a beautiful picnic.
5. Mitchell Park

Looking for a peaceful location to spend a relaxing evening? I would suggest you visit the Mitchell Park. It is kid-friendly and designed with paved trails and open spaces that allow visitors to walk and jog comfortably. But, this doesn’t mean that there is nothing to enjoy. It has great Tennis and Basketball courts making it a great place to host a sporting event.
This is one of the cleanest Windsor parks with well-maintained grass and a small play area for kids to have some fun and recreation. You can also bring your pets along for a walk as the park is dog-friendly.
6. Ojibway Park
Location- 5200 Matchette Rd, Windsor, ON N9C 4E8, Canada
Ojibway Park is surrounded by local wildlife and pristine nature that will bring calmness to your heart. It also offers a wide range of amenities like magnificent ponds and walking trails with clear paths and open spaces that help visitors to spend a great time strolling around and relaxing by nature. If you wish to experience some breathtaking visual scenery, head to the magnificent Ojibway Park!
7. Alexander Park

Next, I would like to mention the Alexander Park. It is one of the fascinating parks flaunting the magnificent views of the Detroit River with beautiful walking trails and spacious open spaces. You can go for a walk or jogging in its serene atmosphere. The park offers several benches, playing units, a beautiful fountain, a gazebo, breathtaking sculptures, and gardens along with a spacious parking lot.
Alexander Park is open 24 hours on all days. If you are looking for a place to conduct a beautiful and intimate wedding facing the magnificent Detroit River, the gazebo in Alexandra Park is waiting for you!
8. Malden Park
Location- 4200 Malden Road, Windsor, ON N9C 0C5, Canada
Completing my recommendations of the most beautiful parks in Windsor is Malden Park. The park has various trails suitable for cycling, biking, and hiking. You can see different reptiles and amphibians around its pond complex. It is also a good spot to watch the migrating birds. This park also offers several amenities, including an enclosed patio, naturalized concert centres, picnic areas, free parking, a gas fireplace, a kitchen, and good sound systems along with chairs and tables at the banquet hall.
