Canada is surely a travellerโ€™s destination with a multitude of picturesque landscapes, exotic wonders, and historical landmarks. It is your gateway to heaven if you are a nature enthusiast and love the serene beauties of nature. I must say that one needs an extended holiday trip to explore most of the attractions there.

1. Banff National Park2. Niagara Falls3. Cape Breton4. Northwest Territories5. Waterton Lakes National Park6. Fundy National Park7.ย Churchill8. Jasper National Park9. Prince Edward Island10. Quebec City11. Vancouver Island12. CN Tower

If you are also planning a visit to Canada, you have come to the right place. Here, you will learn about the most hyped-up destinations and the lesser-known epic spots in Canada that you shouldnโ€™t miss. Letโ€™s start then-

1. Banff National Park

Parks are always visitorsโ€™ favourite. You can have a happy time with your family and kids. Banff National Park is quite peculiar for its turquoise-coloured lakes, snowy mountains, and immaculate wildlife. The overwhelming beauty of the landscape close to the Canadian Rockies will make you tempted to stay outdoors all year round. You can go there anytime as itโ€™s open for 24 hours. The only thing you need to enter there is the Park Passes.

Do you know itโ€™s a UNESCO World Heritage Site? And you can have a lifetime experience of exploring the hiking trails. Most of the hiking trails are huddled around Lake Louise and the Icefields Parkway. If you plan your trip in winter, I recommend you go for cross-country skiing. You can also relax and soak up in the thermal waters at Banff Hot Springs.

One of theย most popular lakes to visit in Banff National Park is Moraine Lake, a well-known spot for photographers. I can tell you some of the recommended places to stay around this national park- Fairmont Banff Springs and the great Lake Louise ski resort.

2. Niagara Falls

Second on my list is the stunning Niagara Falls. Itย is undoubtedly a breathtaking tourist attraction with a huge appeal as an international destination with millions of tourists each year. I must say that your trip is no worth it if you skip visiting there.

This massive fall dropsย approximately 57 meters. This is theย most hyped-up destination inย Canada that needs little to no further introduction. You canย visit Niagara Falls with the help of a boat, namely theย Maid of the Mist boat.ย Some of the recommended places to stay near Niagara Falls areย Embassy Suits and Marriott Fallsview. Make sure you book a room with a view of the falls.

3. Cape Breton

I always tell people that Canada is really blessed with natural beauty. So, if you are also a nature lover, you should at least once in a lifetime, plan your trip to Canada. So, the next natural treasure you must explore there is the Cape Breton. It is a 150-meter-long island known for its elegance, spectacular scenery, hiking trails, impressive coastal sights, and cliffs.ย

One thing I would recommend there is the world-renownedย Cabot Trail which every traveller must ride through to experience the most breathtaking views of the coastal areas. You will also get exposure to some other historic sites there, including the Highlands National Park, Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, Fortress of Louisbourg, and the St. Peters Canal.

Cape Breton must be on your bucket list if you are truly fond of hiking as it is every hiking fanaticโ€™s paradise. What else can you do there? Oh yeah! Indulge with your kids or friends in some interesting activities, including camping, cycling and golfing. Some of the recommended places to stay here are Mountain Vista Seaside Cottages.

4. Northwest Territories

Want to explore something heavenly? Visit the Northwest Territories. You will be blown away by the Arctic tundra, endless wilderness, overflowing waterfalls and shimmering lakes there.

I will tell you the best way to witness its incredible views is by plane. You can take a float plane from Yellowknife to Yellow Dog Lodge located between two beautiful lakes, Duncan and Graham. The lodge features sport fishing, incredibleย northern lights, and hiking trails to beautiful lookout points.

Some amazing locations there to explore are Alexandra Falls, Nahanni National Park Reserve, and Fort Simpson. So, enjoy the beauty of deep canyons, sharp mountain peaks, and plateaus

5. Waterton Lakes National Park

Waterton Lakes National Parkย is one of theย most remarkable mountain parks in the Canadian Rockies.ย You will get to explore the diverse wildlife, extraordinary wildflowers, alpine meadows and some of the best hiking trails in Canada.
